What is Government Invisible Violence? A preface to my case against my American Government

The invisible violence of modern governments hides more criminals than prisons do

What kind of violence that does not exist in most people’s understanding of the world?

It is a violence that leaves no visible scars. It penetrates the body without breaking the skin. It can rupture your eardrum, damage your heart, and destroy your mind—all while the people around you tell you that you are imagining things. It is designed to be invisible. It is designed to be deniable. And it is designed to make you believe that you are crazy.

This is not a conspiracy theory. It is a documented reality recognized by the United States State Department, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the United Nations, and academic researchers across the world. It has a name: **government invisible violence**. And if you have never heard of it, that is by design.

(!) Below in postscript is a curated list of official studies, government documents, academic research, and books that document the forms of invisible violence described in this article.

What is Government Invisible Violence?

Government invisible violence refers to state-sponsored harm that is deliberately designed to leave no visible evidence of its source. It is the weaponization of systems, technologies, and institutions to inflict physical, psychological, and economic damage on a target while maintaining plausible deniability. The goal is not just to harm—it is to harm in a way that the victim cannot prove, cannot escape, and cannot convince anyone else is real, and in most cases, the victims are dead.

The Violence You Don’t See:

How Systems Kill You Without Leaving a Mark

We tend to think of violence as something visible — bruises, weapons, explosions, police batons. But some of the most damaging forms of harm leave no physical trace at all. They operate quietly, through institutions, policies, and social structures that shape a person’s life without ever announcing themselves as “violence.”

This is the realm of **invisible violence**: harm delivered through systems rather than fists, and through decisions rather than blows.

Below are the major forms of invisible violence, systemic oppression, systemic persecution, systemic discrimination, recognized by researchers, human-rights organizations, and social theorists.

1. Structural Violence

Structural violence is the slow, grinding harm produced by unequal systems. It is not a single act but a design embedded in the architecture of society.

- Barriers to healthcare that leave people sick and untreated

- Housing systems that trap people in instability and homelessness

- Immigration processes that leave applicants in years-long limbo

- Policies that create or perpetuate poverty across generations

No one person “does” the violence — the structure does. But the harm is real, measurable, and often fatal over time.

2. Bureaucratic Violence

This is the violence of paperwork, delays, and institutional indifference. It is the weaponization of administrative processes to obstruct, exhaust, and destroy.

- Lost files and missing documents that appear and disappear at will

- Conflicting instructions that make compliance impossible

- Endless processing times that stretch for years without resolution

- Requirements that are impossible to meet, then used as grounds for denial

- Staff who refuse to respond to inquiries, leaving the target in limbo

The result is real harm: lost housing, lost status, lost stability, lost sanity. But because it happens through forms and offices, it is rarely recognized as violence.

3. Psychological and Social Violence

Some harm is delivered through disbelief, stigma, and erasure. The goal is to destroy the target’s credibility, relationships, and sense of self.

- Being dismissed when seeking help: “It’s all in your head”

- Being treated as “not credible” no matter what evidence you present

- Social isolation orchestrated by turning friends and family against you

- Public or institutional shaming designed to make you the problem

- Gaslighting: being told your reality is false, your memory is faulty, your perception is delusion

There are no bruises, but the impact on a person’s mental and emotional stability is profound. Many targets of this violence end their own lives.

4. Institutional Betrayal

This occurs when the institutions meant to protect you instead ignore, minimize, or mishandle your reports of harm. The betrayal itself becomes a form of trauma.

- Complaints to Human Rights bodies rejected or ignored

- Complaints to ombudsman and other state and government bodies go unanswered

- Investigations never begin, or are closed without explanation

- Responsibility is deflected: “We cannot investigate individual claims”

- The victim is blamed for the harm they reported

- Agencies that should help instead participate in the harm

When the system that is supposed to protect you becomes the system that destroys you, the damage is incalculable.

5. Directed Energy Weapons

These include sonic attacks using soundwaves, microwave radiation, and laser systems that penetrate the body without external marks. The most publicly known example is Havana Syndrome, where U.S. diplomats and intelligence officers reported symptoms including dizziness, head pressure, cognitive fog, and hearing loss after exposure to directed energy. The State Department has acknowledged these incidents. The victims were not crazy. Their bodies were being attacked by invisible weapons.

Symptoms documented include:

- Ruptured eardrums

- Permanent eye damage

- Cardiac arrhythmia and heart palpitations

- Jaw pain (TMJ) from sonic pressure

- Cognitive fog and memory loss

The weapon leaves no visible scar. The victim is told they are imagining things. The system denies. The torture continues.

6. Weaponized Psychiatry

This involves the use of false diagnoses to discredit and confine targets. A person who reports persecution is labeled “paranoid.” A person who seeks help is labeled “schizophrenic.” The label becomes a weapon: once you are diagnosed, no one believes anything you say.

- Your complaints become symptoms

- Your evidence becomes delusion

- Your documentation becomes proof of your illness

- The system protects itself by making you the problem

This tactic has been documented in CIA interrogation programs, in campaigns against whistleblowers, and in cases of transnational repression. It is designed to neutralize the target without leaving physical evidence.

7. Administrative Sabotage

This is the systematic exclusion of a target from employment, housing, and services. It is not random. It is coordinated across agencies, each acting independently, each following its own rules — but the pattern is unmistakable.

- A person is denied a driver’s license without explanation

- Their mail is cancelled or forwarded to the wrong address

- Their tax records are blocked, preventing employment

- Their immigration case is delayed for years beyond normal processing times

- Training funds are approved, then placed “on hold,” then never released

- Benefits are suspended based on false claims of non-compliance

The target is slowly, methodically, stripped of the ability to survive. Each agency can point to its own procedures. No single actor is responsible. The target starves anyway.

8. Gaslighting and Psychological Operations

These involve staged interactions designed to make the target doubt their own reality. They are not random encounters. They are scripted, performed, and repeated.

- After a car accident, a stranger approaches: “You’re afraid someone is trying to kill you”

- In a shelter, someone says: “I heard they’re after you”

- A career coach panics and deletes her LinkedIn post when the target names the FBI

- A government official claims documents uploaded twice are “not on file”

- A manager creates a “safe space” with a phone and recorder, waiting for a complaint to weaponize

The target begins to wonder: am I being followed? Am I being watched? Or am I losing my mind? This is the question the operation is designed to make you ask.

9. Transnational Repression

This is the pursuit of a target across borders using intelligence networks. The FBI has a webpage dedicated to this phenomenon. It describes how hostile states track, harass, and harm their citizens abroad. The FBI claims to investigate these crimes. But when the perpetrator is the United States itself, who investigates? When the target is a U.S. citizen, who protects them?

Documented tactics include:

- Threats to family members in the home country

- Surveillance across multiple jurisdictions

- Diplomatic pressure to deny asylum or employment

- Immigration bans coordinated with allied states

- Coercion to return to the country of origin

- Online harassment and reputation attacks

The target cannot escape by crossing a border. The persecution follows.

10. Economic Persecution

This is the systematic destruction of a person’s ability to earn, save, and survive. It is not poverty caused by misfortune. It is poverty engineered as a weapon.

- Exclusion from employment despite exceptional qualifications

- Job offers withdrawn after travel arrangements are made

- Employment sabotaged through false accusations

- Credentials blocked or invalidated

- Training funds promised, then withheld

- Benefits tied to false medical diagnoses, creating traps

When the target has no income, no savings, no housing, they become dependent on the very systems that are persecuting them. They are offered traps: accept a false diagnosis and receive benefits; refuse and starve. Either way, the system wins.

11. Digital Harassment

In the digital age, violence can be delivered through information rather than weapons. The harm is reputational, psychological, and economic — but no physical weapon is involved.

- Doxxing: publishing private information to invite harassment

- Coordinated online harassment campaigns

- Deepfakes designed to discredit

- Reputation attacks spread across platforms

- Impersonation to damage relationships and credibility

- Hacking and deletion of emails, files, and evidence

The target becomes invisible in the digital space: their accounts are blocked, their evidence disappears, their reputation is destroyed. No one sees the attacker. Everyone sees the result.

12. Extraction Operations

This is the use of personal relationships — often marriage — to extract a target from their home country and isolate them in a foreign jurisdiction where they become vulnerable to state control.

- A marriage arranged or encouraged by intelligence agencies

- The spouse moves to isolate the target from support systems

- Family members display racism and hostility, reinforcing isolation

- When the marriage ends, the spouse signals operational closure

- The target is left alone, in a foreign country, with no support

This tactic is documented in declassified CIA records. It is designed to remove a person from their community, place them under surveillance, and create conditions where they can be controlled or eliminated.

13. Weaponized Institutions

This occurs when institutions that should provide support — churches, non-profits, shelters, employment services — are infiltrated or influenced to become instruments of persecution.

- Department of Labor block Employment

- Recruiters block Employment

- Employment specialists at shelters and service centers block Employment

- Church leaders are instructed not to help a target

- Counselors file unauthorized disability applications

- Career coaches refuse to present a target to employers

- Shelter staff stage provocations and report complaints

- Non-profits that should provide aid instead gaslight and obstruct

The target is abandoned by every institution that should offer protection. The message is clear: you are alone. No one will help you. No one believes you.

14. False Medical Diagnosis as a Weapon

This is the deliberate misdiagnosis of a target to destroy credibility, justify confinement, and neutralize testimony. Unlike weaponized psychiatry, which uses existing mental health labels, false medical diagnosis can involve fabricated physical conditions—seizures, vertigo, cardiac issues—that are then used to discredit the target or create dependency.

  • A hospital diagnoses “seizures” while the patient is fully conscious and conversant

  • A medical record becomes evidence of instability rather than evidence of harm

  • The diagnosis follows the target across institutions, creating a false medical history and record

  • The target is told: “You are not credible because you are sick”

  • When the target is killed, the cause of death is ruled “natural”, “Medical” or “suicide” without investigation falsely under manufactured poverty and forced unemployment

This tactic has been documented in cases of transnational repression, whistleblower retaliation, and political persecution. It is designed to make the target’s own body—and the institutions meant to heal it—instruments of the state.

15. Pressure Toward Suicide

This is the hardest forms of invisible violence. When the target is excluded from employment, smeared and isolated and lost his/her career, relationships, reputation, health — when they are isolated, impoverished, and gaslit into believing they are insane, the system pushes them toward the final exit.

- Domestic violence hotlines reroute to suicide hotlines

- Family members tell the target to kill themselves

- The system creates conditions of despair and hopelessness

- The target’s death, if it occurs, is ruled a suicide

- No investigation. No accountability. No evidence.

This is the cleanest outcome for the system. The case closes. The story dies. The target is gone.

Why Invisible Violence Matters

Invisible violence is easy to overlook because it does not fit our traditional image of harm. But for the people experiencing it, the effects are as real as any physical attack. It destabilizes lives, erodes trust, and quietly shapes who gets to feel safe, heard, and protected.

The most insidious feature of invisible violence is that it makes the victim doubt themselves. It is designed to leave no evidence. It is designed to be denied. It is designed to make the public believe that the victim is crazy.

Recognizing these forms of violence is the first step toward confronting them — and toward understanding how power operates in ways we rarely see but often feel.

What Happens When All Fourteen Forms Are Used Against One Person?

I have described fourteen forms of invisible violence. They exist in academic literature, in declassified government documents, in the reports of human rights organizations. They are studied. They are documented. They are acknowledged.

But what happens when all fourteen are used against a single person?

What happens when a government extracts you through marriage, isolates you from your community, sabotages your career, destroys your reputation, stages a car accident to kill you, deploys sonic weapons to rupture your eardrum and damage your heart, labels you schizophrenic to discredit your testimony, uses churches and non-profits to gaslight you, pursues you across seven countries, blocks your asylum claims in Sweden, the United KingdomQatar, and Norway, expels you while your appeal is pending and your knee is still broken, and then — when you finally reach Canada — uses its own institutions to continue the same pattern?

What happens when you call the FBI to report transnational repression and they hang up on you?

What happens when the Department of Justice tells you, “We cannot investigate individual claims”?

What happens when the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights denies your request for precautionary measures on the same day Norway expels you?

What happens when you survive?

I am that person. This is not a hypothetical. It is my case file. It is my medical records. It is my emails, my recordings, my sworn affidavits, my ten years of documentation. My torture case is currently pending before the

  • United Nations, for torture

  • Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, (entire case)

  • the Norwegian Immigration Appeals Board (UNE), (entire case)

  • the Federal Court of Canada, and (against CBSA)

  • Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada through the Pre-Removal Risk Assessment process. (entire case of 1200+ pages)

Every form of invisible violence described in this article has been used and still being used against me in Canada. Every tactic documented by researchers and declassified by governments has been deployed to eliminate me.

I am still alive. I am still documenting. I am still fighting. But I am not safe. My case remains unresolved. My protection hangs in the balance in an allied government to America that is officially persecuting me. The same institutions that have failed me before are deciding whether I live, live a dead life, or even die.

In my next articles, I will share how the U.S. Government, represented by the CIA, decides to extract and destroy a target without leaving a mark. I will share my complaints to the department of justice, the medical records, the emails, the recordings, the falsified police reports, the churches that abandoned me, the non-profits that gaslit me, the shelter that became a theatre of psychological warfare, the FBI call that ended in silence. I will share the evidence as I shared it with the boards of immigrations and federal court. I will share the pattern. I will share the truth.

Subscribe. Follow. Read with the documents open beside you. You will see that I am not describing a theory. I am describing a real story — a case file — one that is still open, still pending, still undecided. And the outcome will determine whether I survive.
